About Our Shop
Since opening in 2017, Eclipse Firearms and Training, LLC has helped customers in Los Banos, CA and surrounding communities find the firearms and accessories to fit their daily lives. We take a different approach — each member of our team is a firearms instructor first and salesman second. This means we go the extra mile to make sure every customer is paired with the piece that fits their needs. It is our goal to help you be an informed, knowledgeable gun owner, even if it means talking us out of a sale.
We offer a range of products and services, including firearms training courses, gun cleaning, custom modifications, gun coatings, self defense courses, and more. Our business is very community-focused and strives to provide each customer with personalized attention and answers.
Meet Our Team
Sunny Le
Sunny Le is the Owner and Head Instructor. Sunny’s passion for firearms started when he was in the JROTC and Army Explorers Program in high school. His plans of joining the military ended due to a back injury during football. He continued his firearms training and education by taking classes and teaching friends. This lead to Sunny getting requests from word-of-mouth clients, so he started to teach private classes at local ranges. When the opportunity became available to be the head instructor and range officer for FOB140, an outdoor range in Santa Nella, he took the opportunity to expand and run the new facility. During this time Sunny became an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer and Certified Instructor for Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection Inside the Home (PPIH), and Personal Protection Outside the Home (PPOH).
Fonzie
Hi, I am Fonzie and I am a Firearms Instructor, Cerakote Applicator and Gunsmith here at Eclipse FNT. I started my life of firearms when I achieved my rifle and shotgun merit badge for the Boy Scouts and since then I have been hooked. At this moment, I am a full-time Federal Law Enforcement Officer out of the Bay Area. Currently, I have National Rifle Association (NRA) certifications in the disciplines of Chief Range Safety Officer (CRSO), Personal Protection Inside the Home (PPIH), Personal Protection Outside the Home (PPOH), Rifle, Pistol, and Shotgun, and I am a California Police Officer Standard Training (CA POST) certified firearms instructor.
When I was active duty for the Army, my time in the Middle East led me to become an instructor for which I trained deploying units with the latest tactics needed for success down range. If you are interested in competitive shooting, I can help you get started because I routinely shoot in competitive matches like USPSA, IDPA and Police Service Comps. I love to shoot; it is a passion of mine, and because of the love of the sport, I am ready to pass my knowledge and experience to you. Most of all, I still think of myself a student of the sport, so I would love to learn from you too.
